In Karasu, the hometown of İpsiz Recep, one of the heroes of the War of Independence, Karasu Castle, New Mosque, Authentic houses and İpsiz Recep Monument will be the main works we will see. We will visit the Acarlar Floodplain, which has been declared a first degree natural protected area and wildlife development area. Longoz is a natural wonder that contains 235 bird species, thousands of water violets and lake tulips. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Forestry, General Directorate of National Parks and Game Wildlife, the length of the floodplain is 1562 hectares and its length is 12 km. It is Turkey's second largest floodplain forest after the Igne island Floodplain in Kirklareli. The lake floor is very densely covered with vegetation. The dominant tree is ash. Elm and alder are also common. The lake onion grown in Acarlar is used extensively in the pharmaceutical industry. Acarlar is on one of the two important migration routes of birds in Anatolia. The endangered cormorant, egret, tench duck, as well as other herons, ibises, sea and ospreys pass through here. Pheasant, snipe lives. Many birds nest here. The lands of the lake, whose water is drained in the summer, are used in agriculture by the villagers. Another feature of Karasu is that it hosted the German U-20 Submarine, which changed the fate of World War II, in its waters. After our Longoz trip, we go to Yenimahalle, where the Sakarya River meets the sea. Sakarya river is also the third longest river of our country. Its total length is 824 km. We take our lunch with fish salad, a soft drink halva and tea. We witness the magnificent meeting of the sea and the river and drink tea in the facilities here. Then we go to Maden Deresi. The reason why the name of the mine creek is given here is the silvery lead and zinc mine that was extracted from here 130 years ago. Today, these mines are left to their own devices. The area has beautiful and private grounds for taking long walks. However, we do not tire you so much and we sit and rest in the facility by the creek, where we can see every shade of green. Then, after a short walk in the forest covered with beech, plane, walnut and hazelnut trees, we take a short tour in Küçükboğaz, which will fascinate you with its view, after seeing the small boats and beaches. After our Karasu tours, we arrive at Akçakoca, famous for its blue flag beach. After visiting the Historical Akçakoca Houses, Kızlarağa Mosque, the Genoese Castle and the Wishing Well, we arrive at Ereğli, the largest district of Zonguldak. We are going to Kale District, where the Government House and Clock Tower are located, where we will see Safranbolu panoramically.
